श्रवण our name, our sankalp

Named for the son who carried his parents

In the Ramayana, Shravan Kumar carried his blind parents on a pilgrimage to every tirtha, balanced in baskets on his shoulders. That is the only standard of seva we accept.

कथा our story

Why SRAVAN exists

Every Indian family has the same story. The grandparents who spoke of Kashi all their lives and never went. The mother who keeps a Saryu-jal bottle from a yatra taken decades ago. The promise — "one day we will all go together" — repeated at every gathering, postponed by every year.

What postpones it is never devotion. It is logistics: the queues that defeat old knees, the touts at the ghats, the worry of where to stay, whom to trust, how it all works. The sacred cities can overwhelm precisely the people who long for them most.

SRAVAN was created to remove everything that stands between a family and its sankalp. We arrange the journey the way Shravan Kumar carried his parents — completely, gently, and as an act of devotion in itself. Serene stays, scholar-pandits, private cars, sattvic bhojan, aarti and rituals arranged in advance, and one person who always answers — so that the only thing you carry is your prayer.
